“French Immersion” alumni tend to lack fluency. They know grammar but struggle to apply that knowledge when speaking French outside the classroom!
Our French Immersion Companion program is the perfect fix.
Students with good grades in French should supplement their studies with two weekly 25-minute tutoring sessions to develop fluency so that the immersion shows off.
Students who are falling behind should increase the frequency to catch up. We are happy to schedule longer sessions if needed.

The Cégep (two years between high school and university in Québec) can be done in English, But, l’épreuve uniforme de français remains.
The Québec exams can be daunting. We offer specific training with two 45-minute sessions. One session on grammar and vocabulary. One session on writing. Assignments are graded.
Our tutors are also equipped to help you with “dissertations” and other assignments. We are happy to discuss French literature when needed.

Is it ok to reassign some sessions to a sibling?
Yes, we are all for it.
How is the classroom experience?
We use an enterprise-grade platform for virtual classrooms to offer our students the best online experience. The link to the classroom is emailed ahead of the class as part of a reminder. Students have access to a Private Learning Portal with a calendar showing the sessions and their details. The Private Learning Portal also shows information on previous sessions with the learning notes.
Do you believe in AI tools?
AI tools are already great at translating. You can use them to converse in French but only a tutor can tell you the truth about your French. Who can trust AI? More seriously, we encourage our students to use those tools between tutoring sessions for extra practice.
